International travel bans due to the Corona pandemic requires IEEE ISIE to change its format this year. Instead of face-to-face sessions, we will conduct the ISIE 2020 in a virtualized, but still interactive way.

Be prepared to submit your presentation slides in advance, and to record a video or audio of your presentation. We will soon post a how-to on this.

Registration procedures and fees are currently being reviewed, and registration will re-open soon. Of course, all papers that are accepted, registered, and presented will be submitted to IEEE Xplore, just as always.

Interesting times require interesting measures. This format is new for most of us and we are all excited. Let’s look at the positive aspects (smaller carbon footprint and costs) and join forces to make it a great event. We are still one community, even if we meet in cyberspace this time.
